Prior to evaluating LiveInvestor
and/or signing up for a new account on LiveInvestor.com,
it is recommended that you verify that your computer can
support the minimum system requirements to run LiveInvestor.
These are the minimum requirements that your computer must
meet to effectively run the application for all your real-time
investment needs.
The minimum system requirements are based
on your computer, and the programs that you have installed
on your computer. These are referred to as hardware and
software requirements.
Software Requirements:
Operating System - Either Windows
98, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows XP, or Windows 2000;
Mac OSX; Linux Red Hat 7 or better.
Browser - Either Netscape Navigator 4.7.x or better,
Internet Explorer 5.5 or better, Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or better, Mozilla 1.7 or better.
Java Runtime Environment - JRE 1.5 or better (install
JRE)
Hardware Requirements:
Intel and 100% compatible processors are supported. A Pentium
166MHz or faster processor with at least 64 megabytes (MB)
or physical RAM is required. Systems with less memory may
cause disk swapping which has a severe effect on performance.
Network Requirements:
Due to the nature of the live streaming
data that is being broadcast to clients running the LiveInvestor
software, it is highly recommended that the user have a
reliable broadband network connection of some form such
as ADSL or Cable Modem service.
